With more than eight years experience lighting in the Visual FX film industry, I am a quality candidate for a Sr. Lighting TD position, on either a VFX production or animated feature.
I am well versed in Maya/Renderman and have composited using both Nuke and Shake. My efforts have contributed to two Oscar nominated and one Oscar winning animated features, Bolt (Disney) Monster House (Sony) and Happy Feet (Animal Logic), respectively.  I am currently working on Cowboys and Aliens at ILM but will be available for work in April.
My employment at major studios including Disney, Sony Imageworks, Animal Logic and Rhythm & Hues has exposed me to various pipelines and processing, developing adaptability, independence and accountability in my work. I understand advanced lighting and compositing techniques, including HDRI, subsurface scattering and point based occlusion.  Not only have I precisely lit, rendered, and composited my own scenes, but I have supervised lighters on multiple projects, ensuring continuity in and quality of productions.  Furthermore, I am a confident leader, able to take direction and have the necessary teamwork skills required for a superior, smooth production.
